If you’re looking for an extra income, affiliate marketing is an amazing resource. Having a blog helps because you can continue to post, bring traffic to your blog and gain sales through affiliate marketing.
However, if you don’t have a blog or haven’t made yours yet, (check this cheap way to start a blog), you can make sell items via other social media, including Pinterest.
First things first, you’ll need to know where to sign up for affiliate marketing.
I’ve tried a bunch and had the most success with these:
- Shop: Fashion for men, women, children, home and more. I love this one because you can choose from many different stores, categories and price ranges. The items I choose from here get repinned like crazy! I posted one dress and an hour later it was pinned close to 1,000 times. I was shocked because this was when I had just started! Now, it happens all the time and it amazes me!
- – Share: This has fashion but it also has just about any niche you want. It’s a main site with a ton of different shops and categories. How is this beneficial? You can manage them all from the same site. It’s also great because all of your income goes to one spot. As a beginner, this is great because you won’t be making as much right away, so instead of waiting longer for ten different sites to pay you, you get the money from those ten companies in one spot and can cash out quickly.
- Bundle: This site is great. Easy and simple to use plus all of your resources are laid out for you. It gives you examples to post and email, what to say, what the products are about. It also gives you the specific item after you sell five of them! They give you all of the info to sell them and you don’t have to do much but share. The bundles are also thoroughly gone through to make sure you are advertising the best products! Plus you’re getting the best products, too!
Those are my top 3 affiliate marketing sites that I use on my blog or any social media, including Pinterest. Having a blog is not necessary for selling from these sites. Making a Pinterest and other social media accounts such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram are free and you can post the products onto those sites. They’re easy to share with friends, family and followers!
Why is this great? This can earn you an extra income or if you want to share often, possibly even a full time income. Full time income, sharing fashion products? Count me IN! (YES, I LOVE IT!)
I am making a large amount of money from just this. I don’t post a lot on my blog from these sites, mostly because, for example, the first affiliate program allows me to pick items and post straight onto my social media’s without needing to post it anywhere else.
Schedule your pins. Seriously, this will save you SO MUCH TIME! I signed up for this site and you can sign up for a free account at first if you want but if you sign up for the paid subscription through my link HERE, you can get a free month (the paid one, for free!!). This site helps you schedule your pins. So, you can schedule them for any day, any time, and any board you have (including group boards). They can be schedule to Pinterest and now you can also use the site to schedule them to Instagram. Easy! All in one spot and done. You can schedule one pin to go to many different boards at the same time or however far apart you want them to post. (For example, 1 hr apart, 11 hrs apart, 2 days apart, etc.) This helps me, a single mother, homeschooling, taking college courses and running a blog. It saves me hours and hours every week.
