The Reading Shortcut to Inspiration
Do you want to inspire your kids? Show them that working towards their goals and dreams is an amazing thing. Teach them that they matter. Show them to never give up.
Well here are some books to help you do just that!
Each story is different in its own way but they all have a common aspect.
These very inspiring books are great additions to any bookshelf.
Is your child discouraged? They can’t get that one thing right, they have trouble with something?
Gift them one of these books. You’ll be amazed at their change in mindset and it might just be the thing they need to get up and try again, and maybe even do that thing they were having trouble with!
A different mindset changes so much.
Dear Girl, Ages 4-8. This book is adorable. A must read for girls of all ages. It’s a huge confidence boost and reminds you that you can be who you are.
Marley Dias gets it DONE. Age 12-18. (I think younger ones would like it too) I LOVE this book. Marley is an amazing young lady who has so many aspirations and dreams. This story shows that going for your dreams is a great thing and so is asking for help and working with others.
She Persisted: 13 American Women Who Changed the World. Age 4-8. This title says it all! Very inspiring stories of women who, well, persisted. They were told no but they did it anyways and they changed the world. This one is good for boys and girls.
It’s Your World: Get Informed, Get Inspired & Get Going! Age 10+. It’s great to get kids involved and inform them about the world around them. This books helps to do just that! It covers many subjects that are important for kids (and adults) to know about! Helping them know and care about what’s going on around them and encouraging them to make a change.
Rosie Revere, Engineer. Age 5-7. What do most of your super hero’s do in the day? Live regular lives, what about at night? That’s when they come alive! Well, that’s when Rosie comes alive too. Winning many awards, this book is a great read about never giving up and following their dreams.
What Do You Do With a Chance? Age 4-7. Well, what do you do when you have a chance? Inspiring bestseller puts chances a different way and shows that it’s a good thing to take a chance.
What Do You Do With an Idea? Age 5-8. This is from the same series as the book above it. Except it’s about an idea! Teaching kids to go with their ideas. We love creative little minds.
I Can Handle It. Age 2-9. This cute book is about being able to handle challenges! It’s a huge confidence boost and is amazing for many different ages.
I Wish You More. Ages 5-8. This cute book teaches about so much, friendship, encourages, curiosity, strength, laughter. It’s a great book to add to your bookshelf.
My kids love these books. They read them often and I am honestly amazed at the results I see. My oldest is hard on himself when he isn’t getting something. These books have helped him SO MUCH.
